I love Pedro Pascal with all my heart and soul as Joel, I love him in every single role he plays, but fucking hell, Nikolaj would kill it. It’s like Joel was meant for him to play, not only because he looks just like him but acting wise too 😭
genuinely weird thought but yk how Sarah had this Jansport backpack with her name on it ? Imagine that backpack somehow in a wild fucking way somehow got to Jackson like some survivors found it and they brought it with them to Jackson like We’ve already seen how Joel reacted when he thought he saw Sarah now Imagine how he would react if one day he was just walking around town and some new comers are given a tour and he sees that purple Jansport backpack and first just feels that same feeling he gets whenever something reminds him of his little girl but then he really sees that backpack sees her name, the butterflies and the stars she had on her backpack THE backpack that someone else is wearing like How would he react ? how would Tommy react ? Would Joel think he’s hallucinating ? Would he go over there ? Would he check if it was really his Sarah’s backpack ? Would he go flight or fight ? Would he just fucking run ? What the fuck would he do ? In this fucking almost impossible but still possible scenario ?
If I dare go worst Imagine he finds her backpack on patrol on a teenagers corpse or he finds her backpack on a teenager whose name IS Sarah like ??????
